We appreciate the cost of living can increase, and we aren’t in the habit of effectively giving our employees a pay cut by holding salaries as the cost of living goes up.

Several Java Software Engineers are needed to join existing Agile Product Development teams of 4-8 skilled engineers. Using the latest Agile processes and development tools, you will rapidly solve problems and create solutions for one of our key Customers.

The company offers flexible working hours. This role is office based 4 days per week and 1 day from home.
The salary ranges from £30,000 to £75,000 plus all expenses are paid. The salary that is offered is subject to skills and proven experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a driven person to grow into an experienced Test Automation Engineer supporting critical National Security projects, which keep the UK a safe place for all its citizens.
The ideal candidate has some of the skills and experiences below and the passion to learn and master the others over time. A day per week training time will be allocated as well as budget for training courses and exams.
Ways of working
- Maintain test frameworks, automation suites, test execution
- Will be enhancing quality by supporting testing processes over two projects
- Atlassian Suite, Linux, Windows, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, VMs, Visual Studio - basic coding skills required
- Data - Splunk
- CI/CD - Jenkins, Bamboo
- Useful languages - molecule, ansible, PowerShell, Linux, Terraform
- Test tools - Robot, Cypress, Visual Studio, molecule
- Test Level - systems, systems integration, exploratory testing, infrastructure testing, end-to-end testing
Malvern/Cheltenham hybrid, which means 2 days per week in Cheltenham, 2 days per week in Malvern and 1 day per week working from home
All travel time and costs will be paid.
Paid overtime may also be available.
Pay and benefits
As this is a junior role the pay is £30k to £39k depending on experience. Pay increases of £1,000 p.a. will be awarded each time a relevant certification is gained by the candidate. E.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS DevOps Engineer.

The process is an initial phone call, followed by a 45 minute Teams call, then if you are interested we will invite you in for a day to meet the team, see some of the tools they use, have lunch, and ask all the questions you like about the work, tools, training etc. At the end of the day we will send you a job offer and a contract.

We can offer a one day visit or up to one week unpaid work experience. This offers a Year 10, Year 12, or undergraduate an experience of working with software engineering teams, and seeing what it is like day to day in a small tech business.
After a successful work experience week, candidates are often invited back for a 4-12 week paid summer placement.
This is paid at £20,000 salary plus holiday and all the other benefits the other employees are entitled to.
Industrial placement / year in industry
Ideally suited to undergraduates for their third year. This is paid at £20,000 plus holiday and all the other benefits the other employees are entitled to.
Could also be a Masters student project, paid or unpaid, depending on if the project is related to the company, a customer, or is a pure research based project.
If you have prior experience in a tech related role before starting university, you may want to work for the company part-time during your degree. You could work 1-2 days per week in a paid capacity.
Post graduate opportunities
After a summer or placement year, many students are offered a 1-2 day per week paid job for their final year, and then automatically go full-time upon graduation.
