Employers present to UoW under-graduates – Employability week

Employability week – at the University of Worcester

As with the previous years event, all of the businesses presenting were actively talent-spotting for C++ programmers to join their growing teams. The event gave the chance for under-graduates to see and hear from real employers, and to gain advice as to what practical skills to further develop in parallel with their studying.

Many of the students asked if work experience or Internships were available. As a result, Steve from borwell will be running a competition for a Software Intern for May 2013 to September 2014.

We had an Intern last year, Sam Williams from Worcester University. He was such an asset to the business that I offered him a job before he started his final year. Sam can complete his degree confident that he has an open job offer, and his parents assured that he will soon be paying his way as a graduate.

If you know someone who may be interested in being the borwell Software Engineering Intern for 2013, please ask them to send a compelling e-mail or letter about why they should be considered, along with an accurate and up-to-date CV.
