borwell look for ways to engage with the local community. As Warriors supporters, Andrea & Steve have sponsored Josh Matavesi, the hugely talented and versatile Fiji international back for the 2013-14 season.
“Josh Matavesi is motivated, ambitious and, most importantly, a real team player. We were delighted to meet Josh last week after the Worcester v Bath game. He is such a friendly, positive & polite guy. We are delighted to be associated with Josh and the rest of the Warriors team.” Andrea comments.
Warriors signed Josh Matavesi from French giants Racing Metro in 2012. Matavesi, who can play across the back line and has featured regularly at inside centre for Racing Metro, has already earned six international caps for his country scoring 14 points with the boot.
The Fiji international, born and raised in Cornwall, is 6ft 1in and weighs 17 and a half stone. He was called-up to the Fiji squad to face England in last season’s autumn internationals.
