With just two weeks to the Strictly event, final preparations are under way…
Our costumes have arrived (phew!) and are now being altered by a dressmaker in Stourport. Hair and makeup has been discussed with Alex at Umberto Giannin, diamond jewellery, yes diamonds, have been chosen at Anja Potze’s beautiful boutique in Worcester.

A rehearsal schedule is being finalised, to include a dress rehearsal and an opportunity to dance in front of an audience for the first time. Nigel is helping us while Sharon from the Worcester Dance Centre is on a dancing holiday in Turkey.
How are we feeling? Petrified, yet enthusiastic. In December 2013, the concept of learning two dances in six months seemed easily achievable. The challenge has been much harder than we anticipated, we are feeling the pressure, but we are practising every day to dance the best we possibly can for you on the 22nd May.
