Since borwell formed in 2003 they have continued to grow year on year. Samuel and Jake joined borwell in January 2015 as Apprentice Software Engineers. Jake said “I feel like the past 5 months here at borwell I’ve learnt more than I ever did at college, and would have done in University.” Samuel said “”I’m learning so much every day, it’s really enjoyable.”
Steve Borwell-Fox said “When it comes to software developers it is very hard to find a candidate with the correct skills, so at borwell we will take skilled apprentices and train them with the right skills to meet the growing demand in both arms of our business, defence and b2b bespoke software. We now have a great team – from keen apprentices to very experienced, highly skilled graduate developers – who all bring new skills and knowledge with them.”
borwell have also recruited Curtis as a digital marketing apprentice and Alistair Druett as Marketing and Business Development Manager. Curtis and Alistair will work closely with Andrea Borwell-Fox to continue the marketing of the organisation and look at new marketing avenues for borwell to explore. Curtis shared his views on working at borwell ‘’ It is amazing that I am learning and working at the same time! Also to be given more responsibility definitely gives me much more confidence. To sum it up, it’s brilliant.’’
Alistair Druett commented on his recent appointment “I am really looking forward to working with such a great, well respected company like borwell. I can remember when borwell first set up and I was at the Chamber. It is great to see a local company grow and help business locally, nationally and internationally get their systems to work for them instead of working around the systems they have.”
