On the 9th of December 2017, Steve Borwell-Fox, MD of borwell took part in a charity Santa Skydive! The cause was St Richard's Hospice, who Andrea, Steve and the borwell team has supported for over 10 years. It is the borwell charity that the team have helped raise money for through walks, dinners, bollywood dancing, paddle/plod/peddle, but never something utterly mad and potentially dangerous.
If you sponsored Steve, then thank you. He raised over £800 and would definitely do it again!

Fly up to 10,000 feet then just jump. How hard can it be!?
It was very simple. I dressed up in a Santa costume, was flown up to 10,000 feet, and jumped (well, was pushed) out the plane, accelerating to 120mph in a couple of seconds. I needed to slow my heart rate so I can smile, enjoy the view, and focus on landing! The free fall was amazing. Over one minute hurtling towards the ground. When the parachute opened all was very calm. I removed my goggles and enjoyed the view. It was stunning. The landing was good. Chris, my instructor used my bum as the undercarriage, and we slide to a stop. I wanted to go again!
Thank you for your support, and for supporting St Richard's Hospice too.
Steve
