Project CoordinatorAn exciting opportunity to go to work for a leader in the provision of professional software engineering and cyber security services. This business wants to move to a business model where a customer facing technical Project Coordinator takes complete ownership for managing relations with customers and supporting the dev teams with planning and resourcing.

Communication inside and outside of the business is the key responsibility.

With our support, mentoring and training, you will grow into an invaluable customer facing Project Manager with extensive experience of managing the implementation of software projects or products.
Customer facing experience is essential - in any sector

Communications skills - vital. You must be gret on the phone, in person and written English must be great. You must be very numerate too.

Some basic knowledge of Prince 2 or PMP with awarenes of Agile methodologies and practices would be ideal. Waterfall is used for larger projects, and DevOps processes for several customers.

No sector knowledge is needed as the business trades in a wide-range of sectors including B2B, Agritech, Aerospace, Defence, Security, Space, Transport/Logistics and government as well as several international customers too.

Most importantly in this role, you will relish taking full responsibility for managing relations with your customers; Of course you’ll be excellent at stakeholder management, and have an instinctive grasp of the ‘big picture’ from the Customer’s challenge/problem space.

All development is done in house, so you will be sat embedded within the dev teams. You'll also be on customer site a fair bit so you'll need to be happy with up to 20% UK travel and the occasional trip abroad. Strong maths and financial planning experience is essential, as you’ll be helping shape, plan and cost the new project work.
